Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of The Supplement Shop website and any purchases made through our online store.
By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our Products
We sell sports nutrition products, food supplements, vitamins, minerals, protein products, pre-workouts, hydration products, health products, foods, snacks, accessories and related goods.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, photographs, ingredients, nutritional information, serving information and prices are accurate.
However, manufacturers may occasionally update packaging, ingredients, formulations or product presentation without notice. The product you receive may therefore differ slightly in appearance from photographs shown on our website.
Where ingredients, allergens or nutritional information are important to you, always check the physical product label before use.
3. Supplements and Health Information
Information provided on The Supplement Shop website is for general product and educational purposes and is not intended to replace professional medical advice.
Food supplements should be used in accordance with the instructions and warnings provided by the manufacturer.
You are responsible for checking that a product is appropriate for you before using it, particularly if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- have a medical condition;
- take prescription medication;
- have known allergies or intolerances; or
- are sensitive to stimulants or particular ingredients.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, seek appropriate professional advice before use.
Products must not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle where the product label states this.
4. Age Restrictions
Certain products may only be suitable for adults or may carry manufacturer age restrictions.
Where a product is marked as being for persons aged 18 or over, by purchasing that product you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe an age-restricted product is being purchased inappropriately.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your order.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to supply a product at a clearly incorrect price. If this happens after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
After placing your order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order.
An order may be refused or cancelled where, for example:
- an item is unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- payment has not been authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity;
- delivery cannot be made to the supplied address; or
- an applicable legal restriction prevents us from supplying the goods.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
UK online retailers are required to clearly communicate pricing, payment and delivery information and confirm online contracts in a durable form such as email.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment methods may also be subject to the payment provider's own terms.
8. Delivery
Available delivery options, prices and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.
Where we advertise next-day UK delivery, delivery remains subject to applicable order cut-off times, working days, destination, courier service and any exclusions stated on our website or at checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless a service is expressly described as guaranteed.
Once your parcel has been dispatched, tracking information may be provided where the selected service supports tracking.
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct before placing your order.
We cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, although we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve any issue.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days.
9. Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods have been delivered to you, or to a person you have identified to receive them.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.
10. Cancelling an Online Order
For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have the right to notify us that they wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods, without needing to provide a reason.
After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Some products may be excluded from cancellation rights where permitted by law, including certain:
- perishable goods;
- personalised goods; and
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken.
Our full return instructions are contained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
11. Returns
Change-of-mind returns must be made in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
For supplements, food and ingestible products, items should remain unused, unopened and sealed if being returned for a change of mind, subject always to your statutory rights.
Where a return is approved, The Supplement Shop will provide a returns label and instructions for sending the goods back.
Please contact us before returning an item.
12. Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
For qualifying online cancellations, we will refund the standard outbound delivery charge where required by law. If you chose a more expensive premium delivery service, we are only required to refund the equivalent cost of standard delivery.
Refund processing times after we issue them may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If an item arrives faulty, damaged, not as described or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help us resolve the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a:
- replacement;
- refund;
- repair where appropriate; or
- other suitable resolution.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under UK consumer law.
14. Discount Codes and Promotions
Discount codes and promotions are subject to any specific terms shown alongside the offer.
Unless stated otherwise:
- promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- only one discount code may be used per order;
- discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively;
- promotions may have expiry dates;
- some brands or products may be excluded; and
- promotional availability may be limited by stock.
We reserve the right to withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious error or misuse.
We will not use these terms to remove a customer's rights where a promotion has already resulted in a binding contract.
15. Stock Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Being able to add an item to your basket does not guarantee stock availability until the order has been processed.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund, replacement or alternative where agreed with you.
16. Product Reviews and Customer Content
Where our website allows customers to submit reviews, photographs or other content, you agree not to submit anything that is:
- unlawful;
- abusive or threatening;
- misleading or fraudulent;
- defamatory;
- infringing another person's intellectual property; or
- unrelated to the product or service being reviewed.
We may moderate content where reasonably necessary, but we will not deliberately manipulate reviews to create a misleading impression of customer opinion.
17. Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, layout and original content — belongs to The Supplement Shop, its operator, or the relevant rights holder.
Brand names, product images and trademarks belonging to manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
Website content may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
18. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
We may temporarily suspend or modify parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical reasons or improvements.
19. Our Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- rights which cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.
We are not responsible for losses which were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
Where you purchase products primarily for business purposes rather than as a consumer, different legal rights may apply.
20. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services such as payment processors, couriers and ecommerce providers may process information where necessary to complete your transaction.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes to our website, operations or applicable law.
The terms that apply to an order are normally those in force at the time the order was placed.
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights available to you under the laws applicable where you live.
